[ strangely strained but simply sifted ]
wheee, happy new year! things are quite weird, quite weird over here in the land of no resolution. it's not holiday life, that's for sure. but i did see the life aquatic! which rocks my sparkly fish socks off! hehe... it was just chaotic enough, which is something i've been thinking about lately.
it seems like chaos... true unpredictability... is something... juicy. and all the applications and two-week per year vacations and 40 hour work weeks can't help at all on that one. in fact, they screw it up pretty damn well. and you've gotta break out of that, into the realm of unpredictability, if you wanna have fun. vonnegut said something about peculiar travel suggestions being dancing lessons from god. but it's not only that. sometimes you have to take the lead and ask god to dance. you've gotta compliment his make-up as well as her tie and charm the goof into... shakin' it. you have to be the peculiar travel suggester... in both ways! |
