[ rushing to rushdie ]
Salman Rushdie is my gyro-hero. His wonky whispy wordophile wordofull wisdom is like sparks in the brain. Spinfinitely better than these years of "science", as much blashphemy as that is to say. That is to say, his writing reaches the heart of things mysterious and tremendous, things that class lacks the knack to even point to from the bustling tour bus of edgucation.
I am also reading that he is sentenced to death in Iran for blasphemy against Islam. So...eh, my blasphemy sort of pales in comparison.
